With the objective of revitalizing the 1960s/early 1970s vintage residence halls located in the college’s Mid-Quad Residential District, this two phase project included the 83,130 SF, LEED Silver equivalent renovation of Berger, Benson and Marks Halls and a 25,835 SF addition to Marks Hall. Study and social lounges with new furniture and AV equipment were added to each residence hall and each were updated to meet ADA requirements, including new elevators and restroom renovations. A new energy efficient central plant was also included to service the dormitories and another new campus building.
