Serving as the new headquarters for JFS, The Louis and Richard Gunther Center is a three story, 36,000 SF building with two levels of subterranean parking, meeting spaces, offices, outdoor terraces, and a green roof. Construction for this project is both in the methane zone and the water table, as well as lot-line to lot-line with adjacent buildings right up to the property line. The subterranean levels consist of dewatering, shoring, mass excavation, waterproofing and methane. The three levels of office and meeting spaces are comprised of concrete, CMU walls, metal deck and lightweight infill.
