This 3-story, 9-unit permanent supportive housing project utilizes repurposed/upcycled shipping containers that were custom designed and modified into highly functional living units. Pursuant to the established project plan, each 40-foot container was customized at a warehouse, where the unit modifications, foundations, utility connections and MEPs were completed. The welcoming residential complex features four-bedroom and two-bedroom units, which were created by connecting the customized containers, and a prefabricated elevator that was delivered to the site, installed and mechanical connections made. There is also a one-bedroom manager’s unit and a Community Room. The landscaped outdoor area features a courtyard, BBQ area, and community vegetable garden space.
