CALIFORNIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGYDabney Hall of Humanities

California Institute of Technolog - Dabney Hall of the Humanities has been a home for literature, history and philosophy with original architectural design by Goodhue Associates. The scope of work of this project involved the historic preservation, rehabilitation and seismic upgrade of the 31,100-square-foot, 3-story plus basement Dabney Hall building. The first floor consists of a library with a spiral staircase to basement stacks, a treasure room and administrative offices. The second floor contains a large lecture room above the library and smaller classrooms with more seminar rooms on the third floor. The rehabilitation restored Dabney Hall to its early grandeur and returns the humanities to its original home. DAC provided project management, field operations construction and self performed concrete work.
