Animo Inglewood Charter High School
This adaptive re-use of an existing 4-story building with subterranean parking in Inglewood involved the conversion of a vacant hospital into high school classrooms from the 2nd floor through 5th floor, administration, multipurpose, aerobics/dance and dining on the 1st floor, with a seismic retrofit of the entire structure. The scope included the demolition of the existing building to structure, seismic panels, epoxy injection and fiber wrap installation, build out for school use, new glass clad steel stair tower and the re-build of the parking deck as well as a sprinkler, FLS, plumbing, mechanical and electrical upgrade of the entire building.
